As a Senior Kotlin Developer you will be working in our Engineering Capco Poland Team as one of a team member of Agile Team focusing on Kotlin. You will work on very interesting, digital, innovate, investment platform together with data engineers, backend and frontend developers to develop new features, maintain and test your code.
THINGS YOU WILL DO
- Work as an engineer in an agile team with highly ambitious and skilled colleagues in our growing data department
- Work closely together with data scientists and data engineers as well as other engineering teams
- Bring data products to production and reveal real business value
- Work on software solutions for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements around data for the Engineering Department (as, e.g., automated data protection required data deletions)
- Work with cutting edge technologies and be part of modern software development practices (e.g. agile teams, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, cloud-based infrastructure and tooling).
- Write clean, testable, maintainable and well-documented code with high attention on security aspects
- Be part of one of the fastest-growing and most visible Fintech startups in Europe, creating innovative services that have a substantial impact on the lives of our customers
TECH STACK: Java 8+, Kotlin - pref., Spring Boot, AWS, microservices
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- University degree in computer science, engineering, natural science, mathematics or similar field
- Strong programming skills in Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot
- Experience working in an engineering team
- Experience in developing code and building infrastructure on AWS
- Experience in complex software projects with end-to-end ownership building Microservices
- Interest in data projects and data-driven business applications
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and Consent Management is a plus
- Motivation to implement regulatory obligations arising, e.g., from data protection law
- Good communication skills that are clear, open and concise, professional proficiency in English
- Interest in FinTech industry
