At Mindtickle We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Development Engineer I (SDE-1) with expertise in Android development to join our mobile team. If you are passionate about technology, have a strong background in Android framework, Kotlin, and related technologies, and are eager to contribute to the success of cutting-edge mobile applications, we want to hear from you!
\n- Designing and Building Mobile Applications:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable Android applications.
- Architect and develop robust, maintainable, and high-performance Android applications.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Demonstrate expertise in Android framework, View system, Kotlin, coroutine, Flow, RXJava, and SQLite.
- Familiarity with Compose-UI and Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
- Leverage the Android framework and View system to create intuitive and responsive UI components.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of mobile applications meet specified requirements.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high code standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Kotlin, coroutines, Flow, RXJava, and SQLite.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Innovation and Learning:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
- Continuously explore and implement new tools and methodologies to enhance development efficiency.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the design team to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX elements into the application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement application features.
- Problem Solving:
- Identify and troubleshoot application bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues.
- Proactively address potential problems during the development process.
- Publishing and Maintenance:
- Publish applications on the Play Store following best practices and guidelines.
- Maintain and optimize code, ensuring long-term application sustainability.
- Own a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Have proven experience as an Android developer with a focus on designing and building mobile applications.
- Are proficient in Android framework, View system, Kotlin, coroutine, rxjava, and SQLite.
- Possess knowledge of Compose-UI and Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
- Get hold of problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Have excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Can work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Are passionate about mobile development and have a desire to learn new technologies.
- Bonus Points:
- Have experience with Compose-ui and Kotlin multiplatform.
- Are experienced with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
- Obtain prior experience building applications with specific features relevant to our company or industry.
- Own open-source contributions or personal projects demonstrating your skills
