👩💻🧑💻 As a Mobile Engineering Manager at Qonto, you will
- Make your squad ship faster than ever: Lead 4–7 iOS or Android engineers in a cross-functional accounting squad. Remove friction, push AI-assisted workflows, and create the conditions for your team to deliver at a pace that surprises them.
- Co-own the product, not just the engineering: Work hand-in-hand with Product Managers and Designers to shape strategy and roadmap. You challenge specs, you understand the "why" behind accounting workflows, and you ship what actually moves the needle for SMEs.
- Grow engineers, not just ship code: Hire top mobile talent, build psychological safety, and develop people who'll outgrow their current roles. Your success is measured by theirs.
🏅 What we're looking for

Accounting domain curiosity: You may have worked on accounting, bookkeeping, or invoicing products before - or you're ready to learn fast. What matters is your ability to get up to speed on complex domain logic and help your team navigate it.
- Product mindset: You understand the business impact of mobile, and you don't just execute on specs. You challenge, contribute, and co-own the product direction with your PM and designer.
- AI-native workflow: You use AI to supercharge how your team builds - from code generation to testing to deployment - and you push your engineers to do the same. (Click HERE to access our vision statement on AI at Qonto).
- Mobile engineering depth: You've built apps yourself. You understand Swift/Kotlin or React Native, architecture trade-offs, and what it takes to ship quality at scale. You don't need to code daily, but you can call BS on bad technical decisions.
- Strong communication in English: You collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders and bridge the gap between mobile and backend teams naturally.
