The Engage Team is pivotal in transforming the booking and pricing landscapes. We're dedicated to ensuring the best user experience for all our customers. To achieve this, we are seeking a talented Android Engineer to join our dynamic Engage Team.
Here’s what you’ll be doing as Android Engineer:
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to build smooth and scalable Android applications
- Participate in team processes (Standups, refinements, sprint plannings, retros)
- Identify areas for improvement to enhance the quality of our application
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to create engaging, trendy, and innovative user experiences
- Support existing features and deliver new one
You’ll report to our Engineering Manager.
Here’s what we’d love from our new Android Engineer:
- Expertise in Kotlin
- Experience with reactive programming (RxJava)
- Proficiency in MVVM architectural pattern
- Skilled in RESTful API integration
- Familiarity with AndroidX libraries
- Adept at networking and working with RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with Git and JIRA
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 2 years of experience in object-oriented and protocol-oriented programming
And if you can also do this stuff, even better:
- Experience with code quality tools: lint, sonarqube, circle CI
- Gradle knowledge
- Have experience with Dependency Injection (Dagger)
- Understanding the Clean Architecture and Modularization

- Design, build and operate services in a cloud-native, service-oriented environment, which will be used by multi-platform applications and hundreds of thousands of users;
- Enjoy a great level of end-to-end autonomy, contributing to system design, implementation approach and production operations of your services. We truly believe in the “Builders mindset”;
- Work closely with product managers and UX designers to build modern and scalable software;
- Work in a team of strong professionals - a great chance to learn from senior software engineers, engineering and product managers.
