Your Mission
We are looking for a confirmed Android Engineer to join the Search squad, where you will specifically focus on Search users' experience in our product. Your role will be to contribute to delivering a scalable and reliable Search aggregation platform and to help the team make decisions that will allow it to succeed in its mission by sharing your expertise and knowledge.
Your responsibilities
- Design, architect and develop features for the BlaBlaCar applications
- Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to help shape the features that lands in production
- Be responsible for the quality of the application, and contribute to improving it
- Improve the tooling and the CI/CD pipeline
- Share your knowledge in the team: provide documentation on your work, enforce good practices and processes, communicate on changes
- Conduct code reviews
Your qualifications
- 3+ years experience building Android apps with a strong engineering culture
- Experience with MVVM architecture and clean architecture
- Experience working on RESTful API, Dagger, Retrofit, Kotlin, Kotlin coroutines, unit and integration tests
- Ability to find the good balance between fast iterations and quality of delivery
- You have good communication skills, and you enjoy sharing & learning from others
- You embrace change, are able to take a step back, and focus on added-value tasks
- You have a results-driven and product-oriented mindset
- Fluency in English
