Alec Plumb

I'm an Android engineer and mobile architect: 15 years on Android, 33 in software. I just wrapped four and a half years as contract technical lead for Cracker Barrel's mobile platform, where I designed their Kotlin Multiplatform service layer (Ktor, Koin, SQLDelight), led a ground-up V2 rewrite of the ordering platform, and built the CI and release engineering behind both the Android and iOS apps. Before that I shipped consumer Android for MLB (Ballpark app), E*Trade, Uber, and the NFL (10M+ installs). Daily stack: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, plus deep Gradle/AGP build engineering. I'm looking for senior or staff Android/KMP work, fully remote in the US: full-time roles or contract engagements of three months and up. I've worked remote since 1997, and I'm at my best owning architecture end to end on products people use in their daily lives.
