I am an experienced educator with over a decade of teaching, curriculum development, and staff training experience, supported by strong commercial and client-facing exposure. This combination allows me to communicate complex concepts clearly, adapt to different audiences, and align educational outcomes with real-world expectations. My career began at Melkbosstrand High School, where I served in multiple leadership roles including Educator, Subject Head, Grade Head, and IT Manager. Alongside teaching, I trained staff members across a wide age range to adopt smart classroom technology, digital teaching tools, and online platforms that enhanced lesson delivery and communication. I was responsible for upskilling staff on platforms such as D6, ensuring technology was used purposefully to support learning, administration, and parent engagement. At Teneo Online School, I taught and designed curriculum content, including developing the Grade 11 Computer Applications Technology curriculum. I also trained new staff members on the school’s online platform, focusing on curriculum structuring, lesson scheduling, assessment management, accurate data capture, and compliance with national curriculum requirements. This role strengthened my ability to train professionals in fully digital learning environments. In parallel with education, I have worked extensively in sales and business development, most recently in the energy sector with Micasa Energy Solutions and MES Africa. In these roles, I trained teams to use Qwix Hive Mind, a CRM and operations management platform, and supported staff in managing clients, contracts, projects, and reporting. My sales background adds value through strong stakeholder engagement, needs analysis, presentation skills, and outcome-driven communication, skills that directly enhance teaching, training, and learner support. I am now seeking a role where my educational expertise is primary, and my sales and commercial experience is leveraged as a competitive advantage. I am particularly interested in positions involving teaching, staff training, curriculum development, digital learning platforms, or professional education, where communication, accountability, and measurable results matter.
