Axel Lafuente

Hello, my name is Axel. I am an Android Developer since 2020, having over three years of experience with Android development at Itaú Unibanco, one of the top banks in Latin America. In the area of native Android development, I dealt with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM. I developed application features with a focus on financial insights, and accomplished critical stability and scalability goals for the bank’s applications. I have also participated in academic projects with corporations like Ford and Vale S.A., which sparked an interest in me for large scale real-world applications. My area is open to all new challenges: remote work, hybrid and on-site positions, so long as it is a substantial growth opportunity. While I primarily operated in the banking vertical, I would be thrilled to switch into other sectors to broaden my understanding of the Android ecosystem. That's not all—there's backend development with Kotlin, a language I already work with, which makes me curious to pursue.
