I build Android apps that solve real operational problems — not just apps that look good in a demo. Over the past 7 years, I've worked as a Lead/Senior Android Engineer designing and shipping native applications in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, using MVVM architecture, for clients across fintech, enterprise security, and the NGO sector. A few problems I've solved along the way: 🔹 Remote Customer Onboarding (Fintech/Treasury) — Architected and built a native Android app enabling banks to acquire and verify customer identity both in-branch and online, cutting the cost and friction of onboarding new customers. 🔹 VOWEL Visitor Management System — Built the mobile half of a mobile + web platform used across commercial and residential sites for visitor registration, tracking, reporting, and access control integration. 🔹 eBeneficiary Management Platform (NGO sector) — Built a system enabling NGOs to digitally register beneficiaries, collect field data, and rapidly mobilize cash, cashless, and commodity programmes — with real-time monitoring and evaluation reporting baked in. I care about clean architecture, smooth UX (Material Design + considered animation), and writing code the next engineer can actually maintain without messaging me. Currently exploring Senior/Lead Android Engineer roles where I can own architecture decisions, mentor other engineers, and keep building products that matter outside a sandbox.
