Junior Android Developer with many years of non-commercial experience looking to gain professional experience and turn a lifelong hobby of programming into a career. - Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose having used it exclusively since its beta release in 2021. - Proficiency in Kotlin having spent hundreds of hours creating Android apps using it. I've even been developing a game in my free time using Kotlin and LibGDX. - Experience integrating network features in Android, including Firebase integration and API calls with Retrofit. - Experience with other modern Android development features such as Coroutines and MVVM architecture. - Knowledge of the steps required for publication of an app to the Play Store, having published my own apps. I have an academic background in modern languages and communication with a BA and MA from the University of Bath (a top-10 university in the UK).
