Carlos Cañete

My name is Carlos Cañete, and I am a developer passionate about technology, particularly in mobile application development for Android. While I currently specialize in native Android applications, my goal is to expand my skills to include development for iOS and cross-platform solutions. I have a solid background in Multiplatform Application Development and Computer Engineering. Throughout my career, i have gained experience in various areas, ranging from helpdesk tasks and system maintenance to developing software with artificial intelligence and mobile applications. I am currently working as an Android Developer at Espacio SOA, where I have contributed to the development of a nutrition application, implementing new features, participating in the migration to Jetpack Compose and fully implementation of payment gateway through Stripe. My technical skills include key tools and technologies for Android development, such as GitHub, Kotlin, Java, Retrofit, and MVVM. Additionally, I consider myself an empathetic, motivated individual with strong analytical thinking. I hold a certification in Jetpack Compose and have an intermediate level of English. I continuously strive to improve my skills through personal projects on GitHub and participate in volunteer initiatives to give back to the community.
