David Schreiber-Ranner

Hi, I'm David, a polyglot software developer with more than 15 years of professional development experience _and_ a master's degree in telecommunication and internet technologies. I've started coding way earlier, though, having fond memories of tinkering with the Logo programming language in Windows 3.1 and writing my first text-based video games with Turbo Pascal and Borland compilers. While I have worked professionally with many languages and software stacks (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, C#, C++, Ruby, ...) almost a decade of my software development career was spent with Android, Java, and my passion language Kotlin. I'm a team player who never struggled working with other people in mixed environments, and am particularly good at acquiring new skills myself, teaching them to other team members, and therefore leading teams by example (I've been leading the Android and C# teams at PSPDFKit for several years). After taking 2 year-long a detour into game development with Unity, I've been again coming back to Android development with the same passion and fire, but packed with even more skills than before.
