What You'll Do
- Android developers are responsible for creating and maintaining Android applications, including developing new features, debugging existing code, and ensuring the applications are optimized for the best user experience.
- Android developers must understand the Android platform, be able to write code in Java, and be familiar with Android development tools.
- Additionally, they must be able to collaborate with other developers and designers to create a cohesive user experience.
- Android developers must also be able to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the development process.
- Additionally, they must be able to work with other teams to ensure that the application meets the user's expectations. With these responsibilities in mind, Android developers must be able to work efficiently and effectively to create applications that are both user-friendly and reliable.
- Android developers must also be able to think critically, solve complex problems, and stay up-to-date on the latest Android technologies. With these skills and responsibilities, Android developers are essential for creating unique applications.
What You Know
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Android application development
- Profound knowledge of writing best practise code using Kotlin and Java
- Experience of integrating and leveraging REST services
- Good experience in designing complex UI using XML and Jet Pack compose
- Experienced with Design Patterns, Object Oriented Programming and Protocol Oriented Programming concept.
- Experienced with MVVM clean architecture with Kotlin
- Experienced with Co-routine, Flow and Re-active pattern
- Experienced with Mockito and JUnit
- Good to have knowledge on JIRA
- Should have good knowledge of git version control system and git commands.
- Should be aware of all Agile ceremonies
- Excellent communication skills and can-do attitude
- Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Education
- CS degree or equivalent experience
